Jesus, new life
The story of Jesus is a story of hope.
From it's earliest days the church uses the cross as a symbol of the Christian faith. A feared instrument of torture becomes a sign of positive hope.
Jesus died on a cross but that is not the end of the Jesus story. Three days later Jesus' grave is empty. Something has happened to the body of Jesus.
