 Things to think about
We have looked at the beginnings of Jesus but was this also the end? Is there something more about Jesus than his miraculous birth. I like babies as much as the next person but I'm not interested in following one for my spiritual benefit. If this was all there was to the story of Jesus then it would be nothing more than a slightly odd story.
Many people consider Jesus to have been a great teacher and this is what we will explore in the next section of this course.
For now though here are some things you might like to think about.
- Do you think that something remarkable happened when Jesus was born?
- Do you agree with John Betjemen that the celebrations of Christmas are insignificant compared to the importance of the birth of Jesus?
- Why did God choose shepherds to be the first people to visit his son?
